Idol Season 6

American Idol season 6 presented two outstanding singers who were far above the other contestants. I see this program as an example of people who have found their niche, and are working toward achieving their goals. Although it is in the entertainment world, it is still a business. Much can be learned from them if your goal is to make money in a home based business.

In my opinion Melinda Doolittle was already a success,she was my favored contestant. . Melinda comes from Brentwood, TN. She had been a back-up singer for CeCe Winans and for Aaron Neville before auditioning for American Idol.

She is a good friend of Mandisa who was competing in the fifth season. In my opinion she was completely in another league and excelled far and above the other contestants in singing talent other than Lakisha Jones. Melinda continued to grow on me with each performance on American Idol. She transformed from a seemingly shy person to one with great command in control of each song with confidence and swept me into each performance with her.

Idol Season 6 - More on Melinda Doolittle She finished in third place on American Idol in 2007 leaving Blake Lewis in 2nd place and Jordin Sparks as the American Idol winner. I don't feel that success is limited to a competitive win over others. I admired Melinda because even though she finished in third place she remained friends with Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis, she even affectionately calls them her babies.
